Far away place from Dublin which hosts some of the yearly Bray jazz festival. Cute auditorium, not too big, a good size for hosting jazz concerts. Seats are comfy and the venue hosts a bar at the entrance, of course toilets and a space dedicated to art gallery on the first floor. Take the stares to avoid chaos, the bar gets crowded very quickly.

Excellent performance as always from John Spillane from Passage West in Cork. A unique artist and raconteur. The accolades are well deserved. First time in the Mermaid, but hopefully, it won't be my last. Great theater and facilities.

Had a lovely evening here. Went to see Michael Harding. A fantastic time,wonderful show. When he is in your area go and see him,will enjoy immensely. A lovely homely theatre. Wheelchair accessible. All the staff were very kind and helpful. Big underground carpark free to park if you are attending anything in the Mermaid. This theatre is located just of main street in Bray. Very accessible of public transport Bus stops very close to it.

I had an amazing movement workshop with Honey & Lemon. It was a lot of fun and warm atmosphere. Thank you so much Honey & Lemon and Mermaid Art Centre for this lovely experience 😊

13/04/2025: Catalyst is my favourite coffee shop, the staff are so lovely, the drinks are top tier (the matcha is my favourite!) and the service is amazing. The staff are so friendly and the interior is beautiful too, lots of plants and very clean. As vegans, my family and I appreciate the wide variety of vegan options served at the Florence road café, great for vegans, vegetarians or just people who want to try more plant based options. Highly recommend checking out catalyst, you’ll become a daily customer like myself 😂🥰

11/07/2025: Lovely food and very good value for money. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The large beer garden gets the sun and has amazing views of the sea. Best pub in Bray
