This is the best ever. I love going in here. Food delicious. Staff so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend Mick Finn.s when in Clonakilty.

The Whale's Tail

17/04/2025: I hadn't been to the Whale's Tail for a few years but it is even better than I remember with a more extensive menu. The mains were all excellent and the staff make for a welcoming experience. The cocktails are also first-class. Highly recommended and definitely among the best spots in Clon.

03/03/2025: The steak was cooked perfectly, made with high-quality ingredients, and really tasty. However, the prices are too high, and I expected a wider selection of fish dishes. The menu, atmosphere, and service feel a bit confusing. I’m not quite sure what type of restaurant this is trying to be.

Courtyard Bar

04/05/2025: Many options to eat. They have gluten-free and milk-free food. The super nice staff and the chef help you choose so you don't have any joy problems. A great option to eat after visiting the castle and the area.

03/05/2025: Matthew is the icecream parlour was very polite and friendly. Made an ice cream just how I asked. , 😁
