Milano in Dublin

After a very long and trying ordeal we made it to the fair city of Dublin. Exhausted and hungry we took a walk in the standard weather of heavy mist or light rain. So our first night in Ireland should have called for some Irish cuisine but somehow we landed in Milanos and we were very glad we did. The pizza was delicious as was the beet and goat cheese salad. Oh we did order a Guinness so not a total un-Irish event.

We have a lovely meal, service was excellent, very friendly server, food was delicious as always, we cannot wait to go back.

For a franchise location, it's not bad at all. Pizza with a well-made thin crust, very acceptable lasagna, however penne with pesto chicken with a heavy sauce that honestly seemed like a jar. Remove large portions. The coffee is very bad for an "Italian" restaurant. Expensive price for the quality they offer, but it is the executive neighborhood of Dublin For a franchise location, it's not bad at all. Great place to eat if going to a show in the Bord Gais Theatre. Very good value and the service was very quick and the waitress ( from Krakow) was so informative and welcoming. She's an asset to the establishment.

We went at a quiet time, which can be hard to get at Milano. We were seated quickly, without a reservation, and a very nice waiter looked after us. The food was great, 2 calzone's and a pizza. The service was efficient, friendly as I expected. Very nice visit. Always a high standard!!

Usually busy because near to the theatre, if you like an inspired Italian cuisine (but not the real thing) you can choose different dishes here . Staff is grand

Milano was great. I really loved the Penne Al Forno and it was fab. Came out still cooking in its dish...I just love that. Service was very good even though it was quite busy. I think its one of the better ones in the chain. I've been to most of them in Dublin.

Loved it! Staff very professional and attentive. Food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Fabulous start to our evening in Bord Gais Theatre 🙌
