I went to the restaurant and the waiters were extremely nice fast sitting us down on a busy day and the food was super fast and don't get me started on the food the burgers moist and delicious fries right out of the fryer and the seafood chowder looks super fresh give these people a raise.
We had a wonderful time with the locals, singing songs, telling stories, and, of course, having a glass or three. It was a very lively bunch that stayed up late and luckily breakfast did start until 9am. I hope to come again on another trip.
The Mills Inn is the star gourmet pub on the main Cork-Kerry road.Pick Friday night and there is trad music to wash down the food b4 u head upstairs to bed. High standards are set and a real welcome awaits the weary traveller. Dont miss it..even for coffee on the way...
We had a wedding tasting at the Mills last night for our son’s wedding on New Years Eve. The food was exceptional. Rose and Gobnait made us feel very special. The chef prepared incredible food and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We are really looking forward to the wedding. Thank you all very much
We visit The Mills last Tues. Offered a seat quickly. I oredered Vegetable curry. pleasant tasting but limited variety of vegetables. Onions & peppers. Curry sauce nice. Another had beef lasagne mediocre with no distinctive flavour. portion size very small. Third friend ordered Prawn salad, she described as tasty and EXTREMELY small portion fot 18.95. However the most disappointing aspect of our meal was th coffee. First cup was weak. Asked for additional cup of coffee and requested a stronger tasting coffee. STILL WEAK. overall we had a mixed meal and felt that the weak coffee may reflect cut backs. Cut backs in quality may backfire. Uncertain if I can call again
