Mimosa in Carlow

Is there a better tapas restaurant in Ireland? I'd like to know! The food has been consistently excellent since opening. The decor, atmosphere and service top class. And the garden: beautiful and calm, grants a mindful moment to appreciate the evening before desert. Thanks for all the great moments.

Nice place with good food and very similar to Spanish tapas. Great quality and very good service. Thanks to Iryna for being so helpful and attentive. When I return to Carlow I will surely repeat.

Strongly recommend Mimosa! I have been a number of times now and the food, atmosphere has always been fantastic. The staff are very helpful and kind.

WOW!!...First time in Mimosa and was blown away by the whole experience. The decor is very miscellany and really works to create a very warm atmosphere. We were a party of 7 with some having certain food intolerance but all our needs were catered for. Each dish served was an absolute treat for the taste buds and left you satisfied but anticipating the next one. It's hard to find a restaurant that get service, atmosphere and food altogether perfect but Mimosa did when we visited. Definitely would recommend.

Food , service & atmosphere is always a 10/10 @mimosa. There is something new to try every time we visit 😊 always forget to take photos of the food 🤣 highly recommend, advise booking couple of weeks in advance.

Went with two friends for some food and a catch up. Great food and fab place. It’s much bigger that we thought, lots of cosy little areas. Staff were really friendly. I’m veggie and hate olives so thought I would be limited food wise but there’s plenty of choice from meat( beef,duck,chicken,pork), fish (cod,prawns) and vegetarian options. Loved the mushroom arancini and sweet potato fries. There’s no parking onsite as it’s down a small lane but there is a multi-storey at the omniplex that’s a 2 min walk away. Literally haven’t anything to note re improvements.

My husband and I visited mimosa once again and as usual it was excellent.Catriona our host was as usual a lovely lady.the food was perfect cocktails were great.staff excellent .we love the ambiance .music is good .we will be back .Mike a good host too .you have to book its so good.thank u
