A coffee chain's local Ballsbridge favourite, you'll always notice it from a distance, no matter the time of day—it's usually packed with tourists, office workers, and regulars. It's small but cosy, and the menu has all the classic basics, from cappuccinos to lemon cake. Bonus: Mister Magpie partners with Bean Inspired Coffee Roasters, a local Dublin-based roastery that sources and roasts specialty coffee grown by women farmers. Most importantly, they're not too stingy with the ceremonial-grade matcha powder—meaning the matcha latte is consistently vibrant green and full of flavour (a rare gem to find in Dublin, in my experience, so far). Our choice: Matcha Latte (€4.50), Flat White (€4.10), and Raspberry & White Chocolate Cookie (€4.50) — all on point! Bill for two: €13.10 Overall verdict: 10/10 if you manage to get the cool window seating. Otherwise, it can feel quite cramped, especially on the terrace.

Lovely little coffee shop, and even lovelier staff! Nice, calm area, the outdoor space is especially enjoyable on a sunny day. Had a tasty dirty chai! One of my nicest experiences in Dublin, hoping I get to come back soon.

Great coffee. Hands-down, one of the best coffees in Dublin. I own a cafe in Australia and trying to get a coffee that is on par has been a battle. Even asking for it just warm is seems still way too hot but Mister Magpie was spot on!! Highly recommend

Visiting from the North, Best Pancakes in ireland. Service was fast and the coffee was brilliant. The complementary brownies handed out were amazing.

Tried this place Sunday morning while visiting Dublin and loved it. There were 3 nice girls working the counter, the place is clean (saw them clean the tables, not just wipe down), and flowers sit atop the tables. It was so femme and nice. Loved it.
