Mister Magpie Coffee in Dublin

Recommended by my niece and it’s a great place 🇮🇪😀 Wonderful welcome and service. We were tempted by the wonderful array of food but settled for coffee ☕️ We sat outside in the warm sunshine. Fantastic ☕️ which we loved. Almost finished and me the lovely “Tuba” who works at the cafe 🇮🇪😀👏👏 After a little chat she bought us some wonderful chocolate brownie’s (on the house) Wonderful atmosphere and terrific service. The best coffee in town by a country mile 🇮🇪👏👏😀 Thanks Tuba highly recommended and the locals seem to love it too 🇮🇪👏😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

It’s dangerous to have your first meal in Dublin here, because it will definitely raise your expectations for every other restaurant in the city.

Excellent café for breakfast/brunch, the service is top-notch (even when you make a mistake!) and the food is delicious (special mention for the scrambled eggs!).

The coffee was so delicious, and the brownies and chocolate cookie were wonderful!

What a find... staying in Dublin for a few days and right opposite the hotel this divine coffee shop. Attention to detail all the way, from the consciously sourced coffee, fresh food and pastries and ultimately the friendly staff, plus the nod to the swans in the park opposite (see design on the coffee). Don´t miss their chocolate brownies. Highly recommended.

Something happened with cappuccino, very disappointed… I come here quite often - it was the best coffee in Dublin, but I felt scammed twice last week: ordered as always - no thick milky taste 😠 First time I also had sweets so couldn’t recognize what exactly was wrong, but second time it was very clear that it isn’t the same coffee. I checked my card and instead of 4.20 I was charged 3.95. I didn’t come to economy 25 cent, I was coming to have the same nice taste 😭 if the previous standard settings were with another “formula” and something was changed, maybe better to give ppl a choice 😩 I’ll definitely delete this review if you teach me how to roll back previous cappuccino settings 🙏🥺 thanks

Get takeaway coffee here regularly and food the odd time. Staff are so sound, coffee is phenomenal and is better priced than most around. It’s always hectic in the morning but they manage to make it flow. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely buzz. Maith sibh!

Mister Magpie seemed to be busy throughout my visit and there was always a line out the door. That speaks highly for their popularity and based on the brunch/lunch menu, the pastries and the lovely staff, I can see why. The Ballsbridge location isn't huge and even the outdoor seating was packed. With that in mind, this isn't a calm and quiet café but pretty bustling, which I do like. The coffee itself was...fine. Bit too milky for my taste, but not bad per se. Would definitely come back to try the food!

Very good food for fair prices. They give you free jellybeans

Feels like one of my local Aussie coffee shops in Melbourne. Seriously good coffee.
