Easy parking. Quick bar service even though there a long line it moved fast. Comfy seats. Great spot for a concert.

The Helix is a nice theatre, albeit in a hard to reach area. We went to A Swinging Little Christmas and while the singers and orchestra were brilliant, the show was ruined by the lack of response from the crowd. No singing, no moving at all bar ourselves and a handful of others. You swear they dug up Glasnevin cemetery and put the bodies in the seats.. Absolutely dire. Why go to a Christmas concert and just sit there?

Absolutely fabulous. Went to the Christmas panto, which is usually really good, but this year it was off the scale! Brilliant production, fantastic entertainment. The kids loved the singing and dancing, and weā€™re still laughing at the jokes. Highly recommend.

Fantastic venue. Comfortable seats with added room to allow people pass. Facilities are very good with good on site parking. Staff very polite and helpful. All seats have a good view of stage and there is a very intimate feel to the auditorium. Great venue overall.

The Helix is a super venue we love it, our most recent show was the Snow Queen marvellous performance by every member of the cast it's a must if there are any seats left u will thoroughly enjoy

Fantastic live music venue, with great views from all angles. Great acoustics and comfortable seats with bar and cafƩ options. The N4 bus route is 24 hours from the city centre to the DCU campus, where the venue is located.

Just stopped in to DCU to catch the 130 bus home to Clontarf coming from Phibsborough. The Helix great space to have a tea/coffee and use the facilities. Spent half an hour there.

18/02/2026: We stumbled upon this place and were charmed by both the small town of Dalkey and the Jaipur restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service impeccable (even if our own English was a bit rusty šŸ˜…). We ordered butter chicken and cashew chicken (the chicken was incredibly tender) with cheese naan and garlic/onion naan. A portion of rice for two was plenty. The mango laahsi was really good. We highly recommend this place. It had been a long time since we'd eaten such good Indian food.
