Well worth the drive to visit a peaceful and beautiful area.

Amazing place, all aspects of its history are well covered and the gardens and walks are just lovely. Very thoughtful in terms of accessibility as well.

Beautiful place, the only problem is that it is very far away and the road is quite narrow, 80kms from Galway at an average speed of 40kms/hour

Beautiful estate to see. The estate and gardens take time to explore, then you also can see a Gothic Church, Henry Mausoleum, Garden Tea House, , Lake, Waterfalls, Picnic Area, Giant Ironing Stone, etc. The restaurant onsite is excellent. Give yourself at least 4 hours at this site. The drive to the Abbey is beautiful and full of surprises.

Great experience. So worth the visit

A must stop!! The abbey is beautiful inside & out. Take the shuttle up to the gardens to see the white ponies and pigs as well as the gorgeous gardens. Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours here.

Very pretty, a little disappointed because the visit to the abbey is too quick, many rooms are closed, to do in spring or summer because the exterior paths are very large and not very pleasant in the fall.

A stunning location. Definitely worth the visit. A yummy cafe, too.

On approaching, suddenly you view this lovely building set among the hills. Very well kept and lovely both inside and out.
