One of the most stunning places we visited on our 1000+ mile Irish road trip. The story of this place is part of what makes it special so I'd encourage enought time for that. But the grounds are enormous. They have walking paths, gardens, and so so much to explore. We spent 4 hours here. The gift shop is one of the better ones, it carries hand crafted items from the Nuns. The restaurant is cafeteria style, but honestly, some of the better food we had on our trip. The landscape on your way here is also breathtaking. We saw the Fjords on our way north. One of our must sees for sure.

A very pretty place to visit with the family. The parking is easily accessible and well-organized. A lovely stop on our Connemara lakes road trip.

The displays in each room are exquisitely curated. A must-see in Ireland. Hats off!

Visiting the Abbey was a really good experience. Unfortunately the rain was relentless and the wind was over 40 mph, so our visit was definitely impacted by that. We went the gardens but were drenched in minutes and almost knocked to the ground by the wind :(. We could appreciate the beauty of the mansion despite the wind and the history talk was excellent. The gift shop was also really well equipped and we bought a nice warm pair of gloves.

We brought our relative from Singapore. we all enjoyed the visit, despite the wet weather. Thank you Kylemore Abbey! We love to come visit again!

Beautiful Abbey and Gardens. Very well worth the stop and visiting the inside and outside grounds. Only wish there would have been a place or walkthrough to see the crafts being done by the sisters of the abbey. Would have made the experience that much more memorable to see them actually at their craft.

Kylemore Abbey is a magnificent historical site, very well maintained. I highly recommend a visit.
