Be me. Travel alone. It's cold and a bit breezy. Do some quick googling. Realize you can't get in to the Michelin started place. Fallback and COME HERE!
Be warned it will be busy. The people know about this place. The place looks a lot bigger on the outside (opposite TARDIS). Inside there might be about 8 seats. The Q is packed. Order for take away and miss out on some specials.
The staff is helpful and friendly even for a foreigner like myself. I got a prawn onigiri and tantanmen. The onigiri was gigantic, and if you're not terribly hungry it might do you. The diamond was the tantanmen however. This dish was absolute gas. 🔥🔥🔥 I did cry a bit because I'll have to fly back to Cork to get this again. The atmosphere added to the dinner. I felt welcomed, like someone elses home, and home cooking.
Thanks for making feel like family for the evening. Immaculate. 💙

Delicious pork meat and marinated egg, the ramen was good and the onigiri was too.
I am not experienced in Japanese food, but I can understand why this place is loved by anyone who enjoys japanes food.
A small restaurant, gives you a retro Japanese vibe while eating your ramen.
If not enough space you can order and go to the bar next to it with the green wall

Fantastic food, service, and vibes! We had beef udon and the sushi roll daily special (salmon/tuna that day). Onigiri was great too. Two visits in as many days!

My husband and I love Japanese culture and food. We went to Japan last year and are always on the lookout for an authentic experience wherever we go. We were spending a week in Ireland and stumbled on this place. This quaint, inviting yet simple set up transported us back to Japan. I ordered a pan seared seabass donburi dish and not only was it one of the best dishes I’ve had in Ireland but one of the best Japanese dishes I’ve ever had. Beautiful presentation, fish was perfectly cooked, crispy skin and melt in your mouth texture with an incredible sauce. Service was fast and friendly. Such a treat and much welcomed break from pub fare. So glad we found this gem in Cork.

Miyazaki is always the top choice restaurant for me in Cork. The food is more than just delicious—it’s comforting and healing. The chef’s cooking is consistently outstanding with dedication.
I especially love their Prawn Udon and Tori Tatsuta Don. The prawn udon is perfectly balanced with so yummy soup and fresh prawns.
And the service is just as exceptional. Lee, in particular, is always warm and attentive, making each visit feel special.
Couldn't recommend more!!!!!

Ordered - Kakiage (Hot soup noodles) in Vegan option.
A unique fusion of Onion pakora, Soba noodles and vegan broth (guessing it to be miso soup).

I had the Suzuki blah rice bowl on the daily menu and it was a delicious fish rice bowl. It was good because the portion was quite large. However, the seats were very narrow, so it felt a little uncomfortable.

One of the best places in Cork to eat.
Food is great and prices are relatively reasonable.
Only issue might be waiting time because everybody wants to get food from there.
