Service was good food was great Great portions and tasty

Pretty good / decent enough size car park. And a very handy convenient location just off the M7 Motorway and close to Limerick City. Good size Bar / restaurant with an upstairs, 2nd story level and a wide selection of setting and table options. With a relatively varied menu that should suit all tastes, palettes and most dietary requirements ! With a good, friendly, helpful, outgoing, chatty staff who provided a very good, quick, speedy, effect and very satisfactory service.

Had a fab family meal in Finnegans today, had the half roast chicken which was absolutely delicious, we were served by a new member of staff, Adam, who was a brill server, gave great advice with regard to our queries with our food choices and made sure our drinks were topped up throughout our meal. Highly recommend a visit.

Varied menu, food was tasty, good location

MJ Finnegan’s is an absolutely fantastic spot right by the main road. If you’re arriving in Limerick, it’s the perfect place to stop and eat before you enter the city, and if you’re leaving, it’s the best last stop before the road. The parking is huge – there’s plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor area is spacious, sunny, and simply amazing to sit and relax in. The staff are incredibly attentive, polite, and unbelievably fast. Honestly, it feels like magic – you barely place your order, and the food is already at your table, as if it came straight out of a movie. And the food… it’s so delicious that words can hardly describe it. Every dish that came out looked so tempting, I kept wanting to photograph everything and try what other people were getting too. It’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to come back to more than once. Presentation is beautiful – even something simple like fries comes served in unique, stylish dishes that make the experience special. I would highly recommend MJ Finnegan’s to absolutely everyone. If you’re visiting Limerick, this is a must-stop place!

Great lunch. Very friendly and helpful

Had a lovely meal the food was nice. Except, a chicken curry came out cold and had to be taken back to be reheated. We also ordered a tea and a herbal tea, we never got them. We told the waiter we didn't get them and to take them off the bill. Except when I was at home I looked at the receipt, the teas were charged for even though we didn't get them. The service was good though. I usually have a good time in Finnegan's but this time was a let down.

Stopped at MJ Finnegans for a break and something to eat on our way from Schull to Roscommon over the weekend and I cannot recommend highly enough. The location was very convenient just off the motorway, food was excellent, quick and attentive service and clean, tastefully decorated environment. Laura was a real gem who couldn't do enough for us. She really went above and beyond to ensure that we left with smiles on our faces and is a huge asset to this restaurant. Because of her, MJ Finnegans will be my go-to whenever I'm travelling in this direction from now on!

Food was tasty, location was ideal! Reasonably priced. A very very special thanks to Laura who was so helpful, kind and accommodating to 3 damsels in distress! We'll be back....
