Modena in Portumna

I was fishing for lenster in clare, and the team stopped for brickfast well worth the visit

I had chowder there at lunchtime on a Wednesday. Very tasty. Nice staff and lovely outdoor seating area. Keep up the good work!

Called in for lunch whilst visiting the town. On the way in was met by a couple leaving, who said "the food is really good", which was a good sign! They weren't wrong. The chicken burger and beef burger we ordered were both homemade and delicious, as was the rest of the meal. Good value too. What more do you need, would recommend and my parting comment is "the food is really good"

Very old fashioned restaurant, it was empty, few men at the bar. Service was OK, lady did her best. Food was OK, nothing special. I won't be back there.

Good Irish breakfast at a reasonable price. Excellent service in a clean comfortable area. Will be back

A hidden gem in Portumna Came here a few years ago and it was nice. The portions are very big as it fills up the entire plate. Also it's expensive.

Modena is a superb resteraunt. The quality of the food is very good and the service is prompt and courteous. Rashid has a wealth of experience as a chef and takes great pride in delivering a wide range of delicious and high quality food to his customers. He constantly analyses current customer trends and has added a dining area outside which is a great addition to the resteraunt, perfect for outdoor dining. The location of the resteraunt is ideal with ample parking space available in the vicinity. A visit to modena is a must when visiting portumna.

Rashid and Rowena are a very friendly couple. Atmosphere and food are top notch. Lovely outdoor sunny seating area....
