A special and especially delicious Valentine's dinner. The black pudding pie a treat and the mulled lamb delish. Excellent wine list and variety of serving portions particularly enjoyable.
This place is a joy! The food is delectable every time. The New Year's Eve menu was truly special- the flavours of spicy margarita and cauliflower chipotle tostada will stay with me a long time and I'll dream of encountering them again at Monk's Lane, long may it delight us in Timoleague. Started with the goats cheese followed by the chicken curry which was AMAZING! The flavors were spectacular ✨ also got the sticky toffee pudding that was such a generous portion - it was so tasty I didn’t have time to take a picture before it was gone 🤤

The food, service, and ambience are always excellent.
The restaurant itself is cosy and welcoming, and there is a relaxing outdoor dining area too where you can dine with your canine companion (weather permitting).
The food is consistently excellent - local, fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and professional, and are blessed with Cork charm!
The Blackberry Bramble cocktail is just yum!
A trip to Monk's Lane restaurant is always a highlight of our visits back home to West Cork. Treise libh!
Auf Empfehlung unserer Vermieterin sind wir ins Monk's Lane gekommen. Schon beim betreten war es sehr einladend. Es ist gemütlich und heimelig eingerichtet. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Preis passt.
