Montys of Kathmandu in Dublin

We just had lunch here which was fantastic. Sashlick chicken and Gorkhali chicken.

Attentive to taste and experience. Lovely waiters. Pahadi Chicken is a great choice.

We were a party of 4 on a Thursday evening. The service was very good the food was very good and it had a nice ambience. It's a little over priced in my opinion but an enjoyable restaurant in the Templebar area.

Monty's food is outstanding! The momos are excellent. Our curries were superb and the garlic naan is dangerously moreish. The real highlight though is the wine list - the depth and quality you'd expect in a 3 star Michelin restaurant. Lots of wines by the glass and perfectly served. This place is brilliant. I'd highly recommend it.

Walked by and we wanted to try some momos. But although we were one of only 3 tables and ordered a few small things and drinks we don’t hit the minimum one main dish per person and they couldn’t serve us. So we left and went across the street and had delicious momos at Kathmandu kitchen.

I've had momos all over the world including at other Nepali restaurants in Dublin and the chicken momos here (half steamed half pan fried) were out of this world delicious! The service and the ambiance was wonderful too! I highly recommend coming here for an authentic taste of Nepal!

A Dublin institution of almost 30 years serving great Nepalese and Indian food and a killer wine list, with good btg options. I reserved a table for my sons birthday putting that in the comments and they brought him a desert with a candle :) Place is small, about 20 covers upstairs and 6 downstairs. Staff are friendly and helpful with dish queries, service was without delay. Menu has plenty of options without being exhaustive which I appreciate.All food was excellent, Masala, Nepalese meat curry, butter chicken, Peshwari naan, squid and spiced potato starters. Atmosphere is quiet, even when nearly full, easy to talk. Interior iI like, white table cloths, nice decor. For curry in Dublin this is a must try and rated against direct competition.

A very enjoyable meal and the service was absolutely brilliant. You can tell a very skilled team are working the kitchen with the freshest of ingredients. I chose mild which was perfect but I think I'll try the hot next time around. Really looking forward to my next meal at Montys!

The absolute best meal we had in Dublin by FAR. The owner was wonderful and welcomed us in, guided us through the menu after getting an idea of our likes and dislikes and was completely spot on with his recommendations. All the staff were attentive and kind. Can't wait to return on another trip to Dublin.
