Mother Macs in Limerick

Lovely pub in Limerick. One of the best serving 00 Guinness. Lovely staff. Great atmosphere.

Dean from Treaty City Brewery suggested we head down to Mother Mac's, whiskey bar for our next round and to check out the rest of the area. On our way, we walked through what is probably not the nicest/safest part of town and passed the Milk Market (which was already closed for the day). It seemed like this area had some drug/criminal stuff going on, so while we did grab a drink at Mother Mac's, we didn't stay long. The bar was nice enough inside, the staff was friendly and attentive, and it felt like a local spot for a Guinness.

My friend who lives in Limerick took me to this pub and I really loved the atmosphere. I also loved that I could enjoy a gluten free beer and drink with my friends!
