Mother Macs in Limerick

This is a wonderful place to have either a tasting of whiskey or just a pint of Guinness. James was amazing at explaining to us every detail of a bottle of Whiskey, its process, and its history. It was craic!

Class spot beside the milk market ideal for a drink before a gig. They also have a savage whiskey snug and selection.

Cracking variety of local and beyond craft beers on draught & bottle/cans.... friendly staff and diligent covid checking.... 2025. Even better... good craft brew selections 2026 still great. Scraggy bay..... Donegal nectar....

Very good selection of craft beers, nice whiskey experience and a good place for a few pints.

Enjoyed a drink at Mother Macs while visiting town. Super friendly place. Able to have conversation with local at the bar. We enjoyed great atmosphere and service. They have a HUGE selection of whiskey and also other options.

We did the whiskey stories class and the Irish coffee class at this place, what a wonderful time!! Our instructor was warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. My wife is lactose intolerant and he went out of his way to make sure she had a great time. The classes were fantastic, the whiskey was outstanding as was the Irish coffee. If you are ever in Limerick and looking for something to do, I can't recommend this establishment enough; I'd give them 10 stars if I could!!
