We organised a 50th birthday party here. Emmet and Aoife were so helpful and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious, the function room is a fantastic spacious venue, the bar staff were brilliant on the night I would have no problem in recommending the Mount Oval to anyone, such nice people to deal with, 👍

The Idle Hour

21/06/2026: Brilliant pub, proper bar with great music and sports in offer. Staff are excellent.
09/06/2026: Those lads worked hard after the ocean to city race with the Champions League Final on too. Two class barmen in a friendly environment. Everything as it should be. Looking forward to coming back.
