I fell in love; here you can truly breathe in the air of the Irish countryside. A pearl immersed in greenery, surrounded by horses, cows, and sheep. A peaceful place, meticulously cared for down to the smallest details. The owner was truly kind and friendly, and was keen to recommend the best tours to explore the area and recommended excellent restaurants serving traditional cuisine. If you're staying in the area, you definitely won't regret staying at Mountain View.

We arrived and the lady was very friendly. Nice rooms and a nice house. It's a good location for a relaxing and peaceful stay. I recommend it if you want to escape the crowds.

NO breakfast. Google's photos and listing is outdated. This is a lovely accommodation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Rooms include a kettle, tea, and instant coffee. Each room has a private bath; mine had a large soaking tub (a boon since I had just hiked the Dingle Way). The property is set back from the road and is very quiet. I was warmly greeted by the host, Bernadette. For dinner, the nearest restaurant is the Anchor 5 minutes away. There are no groceries nearby. This is a good guesthouse for a tranquil night.

Excellent welcome. The hostess is very polite, attentive, and discreet. The rooms are clean. The house is very well-maintained. I will definitely return.

29/07/2025: This was one of the nicest places we visited lately, a little, tranquil paradise, managed and run by absolutely lovely people. One normally goes there to buy a tree. We talked to and were helped by Anthony, who was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We stopped at the Café there for a coffee and a bite to eat and were greeted by Rambo, the duck, who, all by himself, decided to leave the lake and become a bouncer. All day, he spends at the entrance to the coffee shop and inspects every person walking through the door. We are back at home now with a strawberry tree. It is just about to be planted. I can wholeheartedly recommend this centre; a lovely outing with lovely people, beautiful plants, a coffee shop, and a bouncer duck. And we will back for more.

15/01/2026: We were happy to find something open serving food in Doolin, early January is their quietest time of year. The food and service was very good, but the restaurant area lacked a little atmosphere there being few customers.
05/01/2026: I first ate at this place back in 2017, and I recently came back. I still remembered that they had the best fish and chips I had ever tried in my life, and that memory did not disappoint. I never forgot the flavor or how good the food was here, even after so many years. Coming back confirmed that it truly deserves the reputation. The fish is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the flavor is outstanding. It brought back great memories and met my expectations completely. I can honestly say it is still one of the best fish and chips experiences I have had. One hundred percent recommended if you are visiting. Greetings all the way from Mexico.
