Mr Fox in Dublin

Nice setting, quirky (pleasant) service but inconsistent food. It certainly wasn't bad but neither was it exceptional. At this price point the food should be both well conceived and exceptionally well executed.

I was there with my girlfriend last Friday and I had an exquisite experience. The food was 10/10 also the service was very good. Boris really made my experience at Mr fox something above standards. By the way, the blue fin tuna was one of the best I ever tried Thank you so much for everything

Excellent!! The place, the service, the food, everything was unbeatable

This restaurant did not disappoint. From the moment you enter the front door, the atmosphere is so welcoming along with the staff. We were served by a waiter called Niall, who was very friendly and informative of each dish. At no point did we ever feel rushed throughout the evening. We chose from the ala carte menu, which had a varied selection of food choices and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had the loveliest night at Mr. Fox last week! Great ambiance, delicious & beautiful food, and many special & personal touches made our meal here one of the highlights of our most recent trip to Dublin. Niall, our server, was so careful and thoughtful about helping to navigate my severe food sensitivities, and despite all of my issues, the food was incredible and I didn’t get sick! My daughter and I share a birthday (which we were celebrating at Mr Fox) and the staff wrote us each birthday cards and brought us complimentary glasses of cava & everyone was so nice! It was just perfect. We will return on our next trip! Thank you for the special evening, Mr Fox!

Superb dinning experience, creative and high quality plates served by an spectacular team, specially Luciana, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dinning experience. Wine list could improve and the prawn’s description in the menu is deceiving, I was waiting for raw prawns and not battered .

Our party of four had a beautiful relaxing evening at Mr Fox Restaurant, the flavours of the food were excellent along with fantastic wines! The waiting staff were also excellent and well knowledged in their craft..... Thank you :)

Some incredible dishes, but some let downs also. The cod with green curry was an outstanding personal highlight, followed by the goats cheese and beetroot. Short rib with bordelaise was delicious and decadent. Unfortunately the steak tartare was bland and boring. The baked cauliflower with moray cheese was tasteless. The tiramisu was nice but nothing memorable. I’m confused why some dishes were so outstanding and others were so underwhelming. Overall for the price, you can’t go wrong. It is well cooked food for excellent prices.
