Excellent food, they deserve their first Michelin star ⭐️
Excellent service, everyone is kind, smiling and helpful. All food served is professionally and thoroughly explained.
The sore point is the restaurant room: too many people (a restaurant of this level should have fewer tables), but above all there are no sound-absorbing panels, so all the noise of the voices echoes in the room and it becomes impossible to talk to the person in front of you without starting to scream.

We went to Mr Fox to celebrate my fiancé's birthday this year. We had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it out. I was a little disappointed with the waiting times as we were asked to come at 8 sharp over the email communications but we only got our tables 20 mins past the hour. However, my fiancé was happy to sit in a bar and enjoy the view, so overall can't complain a lot about this. Once we were at the table we were served the sourdough with the cep butter and Parmesan fondue and omg it was the star of the night! I had opted for a normal menu whereas my partner went for a vegetarian option. In the normal menu cod was my fav and venison was my least fav. My partner said in the vegetarian menu he loved the aqua Chile sauce the most. The desserts were grand and overall we had a great night. Not sure yet if we'll be back again!

The quality of the food is very good, well thought out menu with good portion sizes for a tasting menu. The wine menu is good but edging on overpriced even these days. The issue is that the room is too bright and the decor could do with some revamping. A dimmer switch would help a lot.

Few friends were traveling around Dublin a few years ago and saw Mr Fox establishment. This year, we made reservations to have a nice dinner and experience. We were not disappointed with the new food selection, and the staff was very knowledgeable of every dish that was served. Would definitely recommend.

Divine, simply divine. My favourite was the curried cod and the parmesan dish. The curried cod had just the right amount of spice. The tartar was excellent and the tuna dish was fabulous! Service was top notch and the wine excellent! Will be back again!

A fantastic meal in Mr Fox and will 100% return. We went at lunch and were the only people in but every dish was fantastic and the service couldn't be faulted. The tasting menu is great value especially with this quality.

Highlight of the dinner was cod green curry. Menu is fun and creative.
Dining area got really loud with people talking. Saw similar comments in the review so expected a little bit but still it could be improved.
Staffs were attentive at the beginning but it gets busier and empty plates were left on our table for about 20mins and no one came to check on us before main course got served which was only complain really.
Dishes were all amazing and we were happy campers.

Was surprised this place was not full, as it was one if the top two spots we dined in Dublin. Michelin should give it a star. Multi course price fixe. All was excellent. Staff was as well. Website tells you nothing about the food as it constantly changes. All of our courses were excellent and it was a bit of an adventure with the lack of data on the website. Would definitely go back when in town. We had a group of 8 and they accommodated us with perfection. Desert was unbelievable, well the first of three!

Mr Fox was simply amazing. From entering to exit, we were made to feel welcome by the lovely staff. They were pleasant, helpful and happy to explain and answer any queries we had about the food and wine.
We took their recommendations for the wine which paired so well with the food. The menu is extensive with little bites of heaven. I can’t point out a favourite dish as we all loved every course. I’m not a foix gras fan but even the bit I tried was tasty. Each course was a work of art. I took photos but they don’t show how sublime the food was.
I cannot recommend Mr Fox highly enough. I’d give it more stars if I could
