Lovely Irish country pub that is a great spot for a drink and bit of food. Lots of food options from breakfast to dinner and everything is very clean. Burger is the best I've had anywhere and reasonably priced too All the staff are very friendly and professional. More than capable of dealing with larger numbers of people too. We were with them for the afters of a funeral and they couldn't have done anymore with food and service on the day. No one left hungry Enjoy

Great family run business and polite staff and lovely food and handy little shop to pick up shopping and a very large car park it's conviently situated in the Castle Connor area on the Ballina to Sligo Road 👍

Great craic on a Sunday night with the traditional music. The roast is a typical home-cooked meal and the waitresses are very efficient and accommodating We were there tonight for the 2nd night running!

Always great food and great service! I go to Muddy's on every trip to Ireland, Mark and Majella are always so welcoming. The food is always great and service is friendly no matter how busy they are, there is live traditional music on Sundays. It's probably the best breakfast in the area too.

09/01/2026: We were here for a family wedding. Lucky enough to have a room in the venue. Stunning space for wedding. Food was amazing.
03/01/2026: We had a wonderful experience at The Station House recently. This restaurant is superb. We arrived on a cold winter evening to a welcoming fire, and the experience only improved from there. This is your traditional high-end restaurant, with immaculate table linen, antique salt and pepper shakers, and beautiful silverware. The food is the the star of the show - and that is saying a lot given the standard of this restaurant - cooked to perfection and piping hot when served, which seems to be a dying trend in restaurants of late. The food was served promptly, and the staff could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Thank you to all involved, both front of house and behind the scenes; it is not easy to establish a venue of this standard, but you struck the perfect cord with The Station House.

The Sweep

04/01/2026: Popped into here on 2nd January with family for lunch. Had the southern style chicken burger, which was outstanding. Thick juicy chicken breast with BBQ sauce, cheese, bacon and frizze onions, served with home made chips. Flavour was fantastic and the frizze onions added a nice bit of crunch. Washed down with a perfect pint of Guinness. Service was faultless and staff were friendly, polite and welcoming, will visit again.
