Lovely coffee and handy outside seating when you're on the bike. A tad pricy though at nearly €9 for 2 coffees and €3.50 for a small scone.

Dropped into Mugs with some friends. My companion and I had a Decaf cappuccino and a regular amrericano served in disposable cups and made from a coffee stand across the road. Bill came to 8.45 EURO. Average coffee at ridiculous prices.

I really in giving credit where credit is due! I went to Mugs last weekend with my family and oh my goodness this is such a wonderful place; we were able to sit outside and ordered our coffee from this little outdoor cart from just the sweetest and most friendly girl I’ve ever met. She had gorgeous curly blonde hair I wish I had asked her name because she was amazing and made the best coffee ever!!! Will definitely be back!

Expect to pay €5+ (€5.45) for a coffee and €12 for a sandwich. Prices on the board aren’t up to date it seems. Pastries are expensive too, however they are quite nice. Other than that it’s a lovely quaint place to sit in and buy overpriced food or you can admire it from a distance. Better, cheaper places in Dalkey to chose from.

We needed to refuel after our trip out to Dalkey Island (well worth a visit) and we came to Mugs. If you like your toasties extra tasty then this is the cafe for you! We had the No 1 - Cream cheese bacon bagel and the No 7 - Chicken, Pesto, Mozzarella, Scamorza and sun-dried tomato on toasted sourdough bread, heaven wouldn't taste as good. With some Keogh's Crisps, Cokes & an Iced Latte, it was good value for great food. Staff were gorgeous and friendly, tables across the junction are covered if there happens to be the odd drop of rain.
