Murphs Bistro in Butlersbridge

The restaurant has a traditional atmosphere, beautiful and cozy. The food is delicious. I ordered the slow-cooked beef. It was delicious.

6 o'clock not a good time for atmosphere as we we're the only people eating. I had a G&T which was over priced. €5.80 gin and €3.70 tonic! Food was nothing special but hot and tasty. Prices about average for a "gastro pub" Friendly service.

Family meal for 12. Great menu and service. Highly recommended 👌

Group of friends meeting for lunch. All ordered chicken curry which was extremely salty. Waiter was informed and his excuse was that they use McDonnells curry sauce!! We were flabbergasted along with very disappointed with the meal. All plates went back with only half the curry eaten. Very very disappointed.

Excellent food and service & great value. I highly recommend you visit this gastro pub for a truly wonderful experience.

My wife and I called in to Murphys while out for a drive in Cavan.My God were we glad we stopped.From the moment we steped inside the door we were greeted with smiles and the staff were unbelievable.The food was out of this world.The owner came to our table and we had a lovely chat about the history of his business.The pub itself was beautiful and it was immaculate.Cant recommend it enough.
