Meeting John and his family and hearing stories was icing on the cake after an incredible meal and a special dessert, complete with the birthday song serenade from the whole restaurant 💚

Great spot, lovely skin on fries and burger. Fresh Hake was perfect. Big plus was that our dog was permitted in the outside tented area with us 😀

The restaurant was open early for dinner, which we appreciated after a long day of hiking. We ordered pan fried hake and roast lamb. Both were served hot and promptly. The staff were pleasant and kind.

My judgment: best restaurant in town! Make sure you don't order a Guinness in a Murphy's restaurant ;-) The blackened cajun salmon is a must-have when you like fish.

Excellent place for dinner, the atmosphere is very friendly, the staff is super welcoming and pleasant, and we don't leave anything on the plate, it's very good!

Incredible food with the friendliest staff. Offered our wee pup we had with us cooked chicken without even being asked. More than attentative and honest to god, these people would make you feel like you're family. Highly recommend if you want good food in a relaxed family environment.

We had vegetable soup and chowder as well Starter and Stir Fry (Asian) vegetarian and Lamb Leg with vegetables. The food was very tasty, quality 5 out of 5, quantity/portion size for the Leg of Lamb: 4 out of 5 because it was a bit small. The restaurant is nice and the service is very good.

23/10/2024: Food and service outstanding and the atmosphere is something else!
10/10/2024: Lovely reception upon arrival, given a choice of tables, we chose by the fire. Good selection on the menu. Fish was so fresh & tasty. Excellent. Good dessert menu too, but we declined as we were full. We were hoping for lobster but not on the menu the day we went. Very nice restaurant.
