Murtagh's in Carrick-on-shannon

We were there at the weekend as part of a hen party. We had a great time. Very good atmosphere and excellent bar staff

Great place for a getaway with friends and family, amazing drinks and food, and not too expensive as well.

With Carrick having been spared the county wide power cuts, we ventured into Murtagh’s to catch some European rugby…it was a great decision. While we had to hop around the bar to avoid the a few stag groups, we still managed to find a few less hectic corners to watch the games. The staff were mindful & helpful at all times. We even bagged a great spot to watch the Connacht game. Particular shout out to Agris for his professionalism & good nature…and lastly to the young bloke who supplied the guitar tunes from 8-10pm…exceptionally talented.

I contacted Murtaghs to organise a night for my sister's hen and from start to finish, it was such a simple process. From having a place to stay, to the food and activities, Rory was brilliant to deal with and made it hassle free. I also met with Brendan to get the keys for the house and he was helpful, friendly and just a phone call away if we needed him. Everything was done promptly, the service was outstanding and we had an absolute blast. The staff were so friendly and attentive, it made the whole night so much fun and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend booking with Murtaghs and will definitely contact them for my next event. Thanks again for everything!!
