Muskerry Arms in Blarney

Service and staff memebrs were incredible in this pub, especially Grace who provided the most amazing custoner wervice and friendliness: we’ll be coming back here!!! give this girl a bonus!!!

I had a delightful stay at Muskerry Arms. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Sandra, who provided a warm and welcoming check-in experience. She is truly an outstanding staff member! I decided to grab a bite to eat, and once again, it was a fantastic experience. The portion sizes were generous; I couldn't finish my meal, and the service was exceptional (be cautious when ordering the starter portion of chicken wings, as it is quite large). Despite being busy on Friday night, the staff remained quick and efficient. The room was cozy and warm, equipped with everything one might need. However, there was one issue worth mentioning...the lights were flickering, and the room felt somewhat dim (not quite a three). Normally, this wouldn't have bothered me, but I needed to study that night for my exam the following morning, which made it a bit frustrating. Other than that, the bed was perfect, and all necessary amenities were provided. Even with the live music playing downstairs, it wasn't overly loud, and I fell asleep easily. Breakfast was again a five-star experience. The waitress was very friendly and engaging. (I hope you managed to get your tire fixed 😉) Parking is conveniently available right outside and is free of charge. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with both the B&B and the restaurant. I will certainly return and recommend it to everyone. Thank you, team!

We didn't stay here, just nipo d in to have dinner because ever since we moved here, everyone keeps saying we must try it. Convenient location. Nice dining area. Exceptional beer. But would not recommend for dinner. They make the bold claim that their fish and chips is the best in town, and as someone who grew up in a fishing town, I really love fish and chips, so I decided to investigate. Not only was it not up to my standard but I can definitely say that it's not the best in town... The problem wasn't the preparation. I would even say that it was perfectly cooked. But the batter was completely without flavor. I normally put a little squeeze of lemon on, barely use tartar sauce, and just enjoy the experience of a freshly cooked piece of battered fish. But I had to use tarter sauce this time. And the tartar sauce was fantastic, probably the best I have ever tasted. But the fish was just....meh. And then the service kind of put the nail in the coffin. Despite the food, we were going to get another round of beer. It was quite good. But the server never came back. It didn't seem busy. There were other people in the dining room that she went back to check on and bring the bill to, but not us. In the end we had to go up to the bar to pay.

I had a wonderful experience at the Muskerry Arms Bar in Blarney. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were absolutely lovely—friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The food was fabulous as well. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and served piping hot. Whether you’re stopping in for a meal or staying the night, it’s a spot that really delivers on quality and hospitality I didn’t stay in the rooms but I definitely will next time Highly recommend for anyone visiting Blarney!

After a fabulous day at Blarney Castle and checking in at the nearby Woollen Mills, we headed to the Muskerry Arms. The moment we walked in the door to a warm greeting from the bartender it was a great experience. Friendly service and excellent food. We had the Muskerry burger and the fish.

Lovely bar, food was fantastic. Very friendly staff they couldn't do enough for you. Great atmosphere in the bar. Rooms/accommodation are just upstairs, very nice with comfortable beds. Can't wait to return.

What an amazing find great location in Blarney staff ever so friendly Service incredible food very filling and as for the full Irish breakfast (so much food). Would definitely stay here again .

Nice place, good food and warthm service. An overall very pleasant pub to have a bite after visiting the castle. Service was fast and friendly.
