My Melody Bistro in Athlone

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Everything we ate was fantastic and the service is very good, they are attentive, polite and friendly.

We ended up here by chance at Lunch. The food is tasty and fresh. The only thing is that the fish could have been cooked a bit better, which is why we gave it one star. Location is a plus.

Once again we returned to River View Bistro and once again we have never been disappointed. Lovely food & Staff.........We'll be back.

Had a school reunion lunch with 9 other people recently.The restaurant was warm,comfortable and staff were excellent.We bought wine but you can bring your own and pay 3e corkage.The location is ideal,3 doors from Sean's bar,Irelands oldest pub.

We had a reunion gathering in the restaurant earlier the food was delicious and the staff could not be nicer very impressed and definitely will be back

One of the best cuisine in Athlone to visit. The food is so delicious and chef listen to you carefully and make the food to make it the best for you. I think the restaurant is not known to many people but I should say it’s a must visit place. Besides Shanon River will make you even refreshed if you take a walk after food. The stuffs are so cordial and humble. We enjoyed the food so much that my kids will visit this place again

This place has new owners/new name called River View Bistro. Fabulous food and great customer service. The chicken curry was delicious and the fish and chips were fantastic.

Popped in here after being at a match in the town and enjoyed a thoroughly nice afternoon dinner. I've eaten here before but I'm not from the area so it's been a long time. I remember it was nice the last time, good to see nothing's changed in that respect. It has a good varied nenu of soups, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pastas and the like. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Really generous portion size, good prompt service, clean and friendly. Ticks all the boxes. Right across from Athlone Castle too if you're visiting.
