We were here for lunch today, the food was delicious😋, we left our plates empty. Chowder was the most delicious I have ever eaten in my life! When we were leaving the restaurant we talked for a while with the owner and chef,very nice and friendly people 😊. Service very nice and we got our food very quickly. I recommend with a clear conscience. 🫡
Decided to head to Nancy's Barn after a recommendation on their Chowder! It did not disappoint. They were booked out, took our number and rang when a table was available!
The seafood was out of this world. I've eaten fresh crab, prawns and squid all over Ireland, Nancy's beat them all hands down!
Get the Seafood Platter, it'll not disappoint!
We were in the area on holiday, but this would be worth the 3 hour drive from home!

We stopped twice on our Donegal trip, for lunch and coffee. The service both times were amazing despite being super-busy. Their seafood chowder is as good as they claim it to be.
I had seen this restaurant on a TV food show and couldn't wait until I was in Donegal to try it. It didn't disappoint really enjoyed the chadower. Even got some to take home
Visited on a Sunday afternoon and managed to get a table straight away. Nachos were delicious and plentiful. Staff very friendly. Been a few times and look forward to our next visit to Nancys to try something different on the menu.
What a fantastic location! Food was fantastic and the chowder is indeed fantastic as well! Highly recommend for sure the best restaurant in the entire area!
A large number of our U3A group visited Nancy’s Barn for lunch yesterday and it was delicious! As well as a great lunch we were also entertained to some traditional music which made the whole visit a most enjoyable experience…thank you!
09/08/2024: We went as a family of 12..From 2 y old ( they have high chairs) to 65 y old. The setting overlooking the double links course with floor to ceiling windows was stunning. The service was first class. We ordered 6 different meals and every plate was emptied! VERY reasonably priced it it suitable for locals/golfers and passing tourists! I had worse Michelin star meals in London basements! Drop of at the front door.. lift.. and stunning balcony for a smoke! Please support it!
