Nancy’s Barn in Ballyliffin

A cozy local eatery that makes great food at a reasonable price. Locally, they are world-famous 😁. We had the delicious clam holder. Definitely worth the detour.

This is a must see in Ballyliffin! Their chowder is phenomenal, of course, but they’ve also done an amazing job of mixing local cuisine with flavors from around the world. The fish tacos are my absolute favorite right now, since it’s the perfect mix of fish and chips and a little taste of being home in the US. Not to mention their amazing wait staff who make sure that everyone who walks in the door is made to feel at home while they’re inside. They’ve also done a great job of honoring the legacy of the barn while bringing in modern conveniences.

Great food, their own craft beers and great service

Tourist from West Midlands, England. Not usually a fan of chips, but these were really lovely and crispy. Had an issue with car, appreciate the 3 lovely members of staff came to help out with jumpstart 💗.

I don't even like chowder, but I highly recommend trying the one at Nancy's. Very good. Should have ordered the large.
