Nancy’s Barn in Ballyliffin

If you're passing through Ballyliffin, don't miss this restaurant. Recommended by locals for its chowder, it fully deserves its reputation. It's NOT a tourist trap, quite the opposite. Generous portions, efficient and friendly service. The chowder is truly delicious and flavorful, and the desserts are exquisite 😉. Local beer on tap. Outdoor terrace, a rarity in Ireland and worth mentioning. Reasonable prices.

As a vegan/vegetarian, finding good food isn't always easy. I found Nancy's Bar online, and I can only give it a 10/10. The vegan "Green Mile Burger" with handmade French fries was excellent! Kudos to the kitchen! According to the website, the vegetarian menu used to be larger, but if there's one good vegan dish, I'm happy. The two incredibly friendly ladies who served me also get a 10/10! The lovingly decorated, clean, and cozy restaurant also gets a 10/10. Overall, highly recommended and definitely worth a visit.

A truly wonderful culinary experience! The seafood chowder is definitely worth trying! Very good. The end of the service was a little more complicated as our dessert order was never processed.

We absolutely adore this place..the staff the food everything about it is 2nd to none! So much so we've booked our wedding there for next year! Kieron the owner is an absolute gentleman..by far one of the friendliest men I have the privilege of knowing and his manager Lisa is an absolute diamond..we visit regularly driving from dublin. The best seafood chowder on the planet! And as for the homemade deserts! Yummmmy!

Lovely food and good staff with nice customer service.. lively atmosphere and smiley staff and great service.. the food is gorgeous. We are very impressed for trying new things especially the favorite seafood chowder with the board menu. ❤️. Even though we didn’t have reservations for as Easter. You guys welcomed us for dinner… a picture with the owner makes us proud and nice surprise for Easter 🐣

Fantastic fish tacos and those chunky home-cut chips to die for. Great services and value for money. Will be back for the chowder. Top class👌
