Nice wine bar with tapas style food in the happening Victorian Quarter. Particularly like the wine flights where you can try three different types of wines in each flight.

What a nice wine bar, and the staff is sooooo friendly. They let you taste the wine first if you're not sure if you like it. They are in good spirits and really enjoy their work. Highly recommended!

There is a reason this place has nearly 5 stars. The staff is incredibly helpful finding the glass of wine you’d like, the food pairs extremely well, and the atmosphere with the music, low lighting, and decor makes you feel cozy and happy. The woman was phenomenal at finding a wine I wanted and allowed me to try one prior to making the choice. The cheese plate was huge and delicious. I recommend wholeheartedly.

Supermac's

18/07/2025: Go what I expected! Would use again if in area!
13/07/2025: They have a very friendly and helpful staff, I've been served for almost every one of them and they were all excellent. It's a nice place to eat in and I'd recommend the drive-through as well. One of best chain takeaways in Cork.

Maryborough Hotel & Spa

19/07/2025: Cannot recommend The Maryborough enough. Just had my wedding there last month, and all of the staff were wonderful, incredibly accommodating, and always on hand to help. The food for the dinner was beautiful, the orangery is stunning, the spa is amazing. My wife and I are still beaming from ear to ear when we think about how great everyone was. To Mary, Claire, Eilis, and everyone who helped us along the way, THANK YOU!
15/07/2025: We went here for our anniversary and it was a lovely hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, we were upgraded to a hotel room with a balcony and prosecco on arrival, such a lovely touch, the hotel itself is beautiful, and lovely grounds, unfortunately it rained the whole time that we were there, so I seen very little of cork city itself, maybe next time. Our bedroom had a lovely big bed and comfortable pillows, we had a small kettle and very poor choice in coffee and tea, with 2 sad little biscuits, for a 4 star hotel I really thought it would have a coffee machine in the room itself, as the room had everything else that you could ask for, so it was very dissipointing after driving 5 hours, not to get a decent coffee, we had breakfast in the hotel twice,, first morning was a disaster, everything we seem to ask for, we didn't get, or it was poorly cooked, saying that, we had a little cheese board in the evenings with some drinks and it was lovely, we also had dinner here, which was terrible, we both had the fish and chips, the batter was beautiful but the fish wasn't fully cooked through in the middle, as for the peas, absolutely terrible, I've never seen dried out mashed up peas with no flavour, I just give up as this stage on the food end of it, thankfully we met a lovely man called john Coleman who works there, such an asset to the place,, he was so helpful in every way, so was kieran the restaurant manager, he made sure our breakfast was thoroughly cooked on our last morning, and big thank you to john for the lovely cream tea and prosecco, a lovely gesture, my partner loved the pool but unfortunately he hadn't time to enjoy a massage at their lovely spa, as it was fully booked all day, so he was a little disappointed. But I have to say, I loved our stay here, and I will return in the future, hopefully the food in the bar improves and it will be just perfect 👌
