Neville's Cross Inn in

The food was good, hot, fresh & tasty. The service did lack a little. We were told when we were lead to a table that they needed the table back within an hour and a half, which was ample but by the time our order was taken and the food came out 45 mins had already passed, so it didn't leave too long if you wanted to be comfortable. We noticed two other tables that came in about ten mins after us got their food well before ours came out. My wife was offered extra veg but she had the dinner eaten by the time the veg came out. Although all the tables had reserved signs on them it wasn't actually very busy while we were there. The place is clean and tidy and does offer good food. I can imagine the place is pretty well run and we were still relatively happy with it but the service could be improved a bit. We understand that hospitality is tough business at the moment but we didn't really appreciate the limited time on the table kind of thing for a gastro pub. An hour and a half would have been plenty if the food didn't take as long to come out.

If I have to find something negative to say, it is about the toilet was dirty.

Fabulous food, fabulous venue and fabulous decor! The turkey and ham was the best I’ve had outside of my own house - and don’t even get me started on the stuffing and gravy…sensational! Only we were in public we would’ve licked the plate 😆 booked in again for the following day, so that’ll show how good it was! Also serve a great Caesar salad - really tasty dressing. To be honest, every plate of food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Grub, nice friendly atmosphere and great service. Certainly did not disappoint. I will be back again.

The food here is delicious but this place is freezing cold. When asked if they could put on the heat we were told that it was on but that there are draughts. We were shivering by the time we left. A real shame.

Food service and staff outstanding. Such a lovely setting with a welcoming atmosphere and cosy fire. Would highly recommend. Visited to celebrate my brothers birthday. Staff ensured his dessert had happy birthday written on the plate and was decorated with candles. They all sang happy birthday. Had great fun and a good laugh.

Came here with family when over from the UK. Great friendly service, nice food which was well presented. Lovely atmosphere and ample parking
