New Empire in Dublin

One of the best Chinese meals I've had in a long time. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. It must be good as there were a lot of Chinese people frequenting the place. It's a must if you are in the Rathmines area of Dublin. 🇨🇳🇮🇪😍

The beef brisket rice and pig's trotter rice are both great, the portions are good and the price is cheap

The boss's price and thoughtfulness are very considerate of Liuzi who is from a foreign land. Halfway through the meal in the restaurant, he would ask me if I would like hot water or tea in the cold weather. The prices in that high-end area are more generous than most in the city center. You must eat there often and use euros to keep the boss busy🥰

Not the best spice bag I've ever had but still quite decent.

Had beef and duck and it was very tasty and tender. Definitely recommended.

I dont know if the business changed hands. They closed for several weeks, and the menu is drastically different since reopening. No traditional chinese dishes like mapo tofu, and instead a bunch of Asian fusion stuff added. Previously it was 5/5. Now 3/5 at best. We tried korean fried chicken, it was nothing like actual korean fried chicken, and also tried beef bulgogi which was just like a simple sweet chinese beef stir fry and nothing like actual beef bulgogi. The food was okay, not terrible, but compared to previously, an absolute massive let down, wont go back. And prices are up too, expensive for mid quality.

Please bring back the old menu!
