New Empire in Dublin

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were the only customers there. We ordered a wrap and a braised pork knuckle rice at New Empire. After we had been seated for about half an hour, the staff served all the food (including the pork knuckle rice we had ordered) to another customer who placed their order ten minutes after us, while telling us that our food would still take longer. After a total of fourty minutes, we still had not received any food at all. When we asked about this, the staff responded very impatiently and told us that if we did not want to wait, just get a refund. My suggestion is that if the food preparation time is going to be long, at least inform customer in advance. Moreover, it is not appropriate to serve food that we had already ordered to customers who arrived later, especially after we had clearly stated that we were in a hurry and hoped to receive our food as soon as possible.

10/10 spice bag. Really good curry sauce.

They do ‘proper’ Chinese breakfast like big wonton dumplings soup , or wrap with different deep fried fillings. And also their braised pork leg , braised tofu and egg . Have few tables for dine in
