Nice little cafe, food is good, pastries are ok, I would not think they are home made. The cafe is bright and open with a nice view. The prices are about average and the service is ok. So if your looking for a quick snack and (nothing out of this world kind of thing) in a nice location and not costing an arm and a leg, this is a good a place as any.

Lovely view of the water, local art on the walls and for sale, parking directly across the road, and good food at reasonable prices. Smoothies and club sandwiches are outstanding.

13/10/2024: Visited The Bunratty Inn while in the area. It is usually quite busy anytime I've been in Schull. Decided to give it a try as I had not been there for sometime. I was not disappointed. I opted for the warm chicken salad. It was absolutely gorgeous. It had loads of chicken and a lovely salad. Staff are attentive and the kitchen was turning out some lovely dishes. Be aware though the kitchen closes for an hour in the afternoon, so time your visit. I will call again when in the area.

Schull Harbour Hotel

02/02/2025: I had the roast beef for dinner. The beef was delicious, lovely and tender. The vegetables were a bit hard and could have done with a few more minutes boiling/steaming. I asked could I substitute the onion rings for chips and the waitress said no problem. After paying I realised I had been charged for the chips that were substituted, even though the portion they gave was not a full portion of chips. I also waited for a dessert menu but they never gave one.
