24/02/2024: My parents and I enjoyed a beautiful meal in The New Haven restaurant this evening. We came away very satisfied and will definitely return. The anti pasti was very generous and tasty along with the braised pork belly. Most of all, the service was extremely good and the staff very friendly. We were taken care of especially well by Vienne, who had a smile on her face every time she came to our table. She added massively to our great dining experience! Looking forward to returning. Robbie.

23/03/2024: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Despite some cloudy days, unforgettable memories. Great hotel, rooms with a sea view, TV on the wall. The harbour is very close to the hotel. Hotel staff very polite, nice and helpful. Food very good. Swimming pool, two saunas, one steam and the other dry, and gym, we were there about two weeks ago, the dry one was temporarily unavailable. The hotel was very clean and well-kept. My wife and I hope to come again in July. We highly recommend this hotel. 🥰❤️🤩👋

25/12/2023: I moved to Schull four years ago. Not too many pubs to explore. On my first visit I was the sole customer. Three "staff " members were at the other end of a very small bar. One minute passed with no recognition that I was about six feet away from them. I don't exaggerate but it was five minutes or more before one of this trio grudgingly came to me. The staff are totally lacking in basic people skills. I got the distinct impression that I should be honoured to spend my money. Ah well I guess they do so well that it doesn't matter to them. Obnoxious staff and an atmosphere like the moon.

06/10/2023: What an amazing pub, you can literally walk in on your own and you will be chatting away to everyone. Craig is a great lad, always got time for a chat and serves up a great pint of Murphy. Real gem of a boozer.

17/03/2024: Great in every way. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, cosy interior, and absolutely outstanding service. The prices were surprisingly reasonable considering all of the above. One of the best dining experiences in Ireland. Cannot recommend them enough.

02/12/2023: This restaurant had been highly recommended to us and we were so excited about the opportunity, in fact we booked a weekend away especially to have the experience. How disappointed were we !!!! The two ladies at the front desk were constantly gossiping about a lady or a group who “had been out of her mind drunk and very unsteady on her feet “ . It was impossible not to overhear as they spoke very loudly and kept coming back to the conversation. This was when the restaurant was very busy. Our table was very close to the front desk. We had our meal booked for 6.15 pm and there were large groups eating there too . Our starter was lovely but our main courses were only lukewarm served on cold plates. At no point did either of the two ladies/servers check on us if our meal was ok even though we heard them asking other guests if everything was okay. I asked for most of my meal to go as takeaway and was given back a much smaller portion wrapped in tinfoil!!!! Very disappointed by the whole experience, I’m sorry we left a decent tip to be honest.
