17/08/2026: Outstanding service, value, and food. Highly recommend for anyone in the area to pop in and have a quick starter / drink or full course. Suitable for all ages and a brilliant atmosphere, server James was very accommodating.

27/10/2025: Unpleasant experience.
We waited at the bar for around 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Despite approaching staff several times to ask about getting a table, we continued to be ignored. Unfortunately, we decided to leave.
28/09/2025: The food here was genuinely outstanding... chicken curry with half chips & rice - as good as anywhere Ive eaten. Superb / friendly service also.

12/09/2026: Stopped in for a breakfast but unfortunately they don't do it anymore. Had the toasted special and soup combo instead and it was so good. The soup was homemade and so tasty. The toasties were 10/10, proper ham and cooked to perfection. Such good value for top notch pub food! Girls serving us were so friendly we'll def return.

15/07/2025: This bar has disimproved over the last few years. Still much better than Hacketts (full of poseurs) opposite and has a reasonable selection of drinks. Needs a loving hand to bring it back to what it was.
