No. 19 Brasserie in Newbridge

We were quite a large party for the restaurant, 13 in total but they were very accommodating. The occasion was a birthday. The party included a 93 yr old, 2 type 1 diabetics and 2 people on restricted diets for health reasons. The menu was varied, lots of options for everyone and the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent, everyone was very happy with their choices. Highlight included chicken in porcini mushroom sauce (main) and the calamari (starter); younger party members had pizza and loved it. The atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant; no rushing, attentive staff without being intrusive and good value for money. Highly recommend if you're looking a great dining experience in Newbridge!

Had a lovely meal at No 19 Italian Restaurant in Newbridge. The food was very good — I had the Straccetti di Manzo and Pollo Milano, while my wife ordered the Arancini di Riso and Risotto con Pancetta. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and nicely presented. Drinks were simple — a Pornstar Martini and a few Cokes — and service was quick and professional. The staff were friendly and attentive, and while our waiter was great, it would’ve been a nice touch if the maître d’ had shown us to our table and talked us through the specials rather than just pointing us over. Not a big deal, but something small that could enhance the experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming — modern with rustic charm, and spotlessly clean. It was busy enough to feel lively but not overly packed. Prices were affordable for the quality of food and service. One suggestion (especially for an Italian restaurant): it would be lovely to see a complimentary bread basket on the table. In Italy, the first basket is often free and it’s a great way to enjoy the sauces and complete the experience. Overall, a solid choice for a casual yet quality Italian meal. I’d recommend it, though personally I tend to cook a lot of Italian at home — so I’m pickier than most. Still, well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We ate at no.19 Italian and all I can say it that the place is absolutely amazing from the atmosphere to the staff being so helpful and kind including recommendations, the food was gorgeous and I will definitely be back again😻
