Beautiful venue, brilliant service and gluten free options. Food is mediocre, personally I would reduce the sizes vs invest in more sophistication to match the climate. Food is not bad and it’s honest but you expect to come and eat something exciting that you wouldn’t be able to recreate easily in your own kitchen.

This little gem is in the town of Collon, just outside Drogheda, been a few times for dinner, food absolutely fabulous, staff excellent, love it here. Great wine collection. Would ring and reserve a table

Delicious, creative food served by a lovely and attentive staff - Wayne and Caoimhe. Excellent choice of wines. Upmarket venue but white table cloths would be a welcome. Best value is the early bird menu. Option of music in the marquee on Saturday evenings. Recommended.

A true gem in Ireland! This is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Ireland. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and cozy, perfect for unwinding and enjoying great moments. The candlelit decor adds a special touch, creating a warm and intimate vibe, while the live music, performed outside, adds a lively and unique charm to the overall experience. The service is outstanding! The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ensuring that you have everything you need. It’s clear they pay attention to every detail to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. If you’re looking for a place with a unique ambiance, excellent service, and a charming touch, this is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Went with 7 of our family for a celebration meal and was really looking forward to it. Something has really happened to the standards here as the starter I got was Fantastic but Monkfish dishes (2)had very little Monkfish in them and was mostly potato.....and at that price it was, very very disappointing. The steaks ( 4 ) and all agreed it had a lot of grizzle / fat in them and were a little tough and the meal was a little short on flavor. Fish (1) and burgers (1) were very good . I don't know if it was just a blip after the Halloween weekend but for a Friday there were very few people dining there . . THIS BELOW IS THE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE DROP . Fantastic food and service. Really cosy atmosphere especially near the bar area . The waitresses were very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Menu would suit every palate and if you are celiac or gluten intolerant you will not find a better place . Try the mussels with chorizo...... 10/10 The early bird menu is fantastic value at €25 for two courses ( paid the extra €8 for the sirloin steak ) ......... So good . Go for the bottle of house red which is great value as apposed to the glass . Great restaurant for a couple or more . Highly recommend.

Place found by chance, a real wonder! Courteous and truly professional staff, the food was a surprise, everything was well done, cared for, simple and genuine flavours, I recommend it!!
