Book a reservation beforehand (necessary because of local popularity!) as it is worth it for a great culinary experience at great value. Each component of each dish was cooked perfectly - the prawn and spinach filo pastry being a great example of complexity executed exceptionally. The mains have wonderfully balanced flavors with elements that elevate them beyond their contemporaries! Highly recommend the lamb ragu for a staple dish - and if they have the grilled sole special it is a must order. The fish fell right off the bone, and the tomatoes lifted the dish.
Any restauranteur would be thrilled.

We did the Beara Way and after 10 days enjoyed non-pub food. No.35 nailed is, fantastic fish, soup. Very friendly and funny service - we enjoyed the service a lot. Def a must-place if you ever visit Kenmare. (reserve upfront)

We gambled on arriving at No 35 right at opening to hopefully get a seating on Good Friday. Luckily for us we were accommodated right away.
We were craving more seafood and the menu had lots of great options to choose from.
We started with the drunken mussels which had a tasty broth but the mussel meat was a bit small.
The hake special was perfectly cooked and paired with fingerling potatoes and a side of carrots. I believe this was my first time eating hake.
The seafood linguine had a deliciously different taste that we liked.
Service was very good throughout and ambiance was nice and cozy. Those with reservations got escorted up to the second floor which would definitely be a lot quieter.
Overall a very filling meal and a little bummed that we could not fit in dessert.

The food was outstanding and completely unique. In addition, the service was friendly and even though we came without a reservation, we found space and were looked after really well.
There were dishes that are not available everywhere and the price and performance are simply in perfect proportion.
An absolute recommendation for delicious food and a great time.

Habíamos hecho una reserva en este encantador restaurante para nuestra una noche en Kenmare. Estábamos sentados a tiempo arriba, que era una habitación tranquila y acogedora con solo unas pocas mesas. La selección de vinos era buena y tuvimos una comida maravillosa, fácilmente la mejor comida que tuvimos en nuestros 10 días enteros en Irlanda. Comenzamos con la ensalada de pera, nuez moscada y queso azul, una buena porción, fácilmente dividida para dos personas con la cantidad justa de aderezo. Las bolas de Mancini con queso de cabra estaban muy sabrosas. Nuestras comidas eran deliciosas, la merluza con patatas y puerros y el cordero ragu. Todo eso fue excepcional.
Sin embargo, el servicio fue terrible. Nuestra camarera, Emily, era impaciente y grosera. Hicimos algunas preguntas ya que era nuestra primera vez cenando aquí y queríamos unos momentos para mirar el menú. Ella volvió sus ojos hacia nosotros la primera vez y la segunda vez cuando regresó con nuestra agua cuando tuvimos una pregunta sobre el vino. Cuando le preguntamos si la estábamos molestando, ella dijo que no, pero procedió a ignorar nuestra mesa el resto de la noche, en particular charlando y sirviendo otras mesas cercanas. No somos clientes difíciles y somos muy atractivos y amables con aquellos que trabajan duro en restaurantes. No dejamos que arruinara nuestra comida. Su falta de servicio se reflejó en su falta de propina y sí hablamos con el gerente a la salida cuando nos preguntó cómo era nuestra comida. Volvería por la comida excepcional, pero pida un servidor diferente.
