We had a lovely meal at no.35. We were sat downstairs which was a nice intimate vibe, staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, we had the prawn and spinach filo pastry and the haddock smokies for starters and the lamb Ragu and the wagyu burger for mains. We would highly recommend.

The staff managed to find a table for us as a walk in and we are so glad they did. Service was fantastic, food was one of the best meals we’ve had for a long time - well worth the price. Would definitely eat here again!

I would recommend booking in advance to ensure enjoying a meal at this superb small restaurant in the heart of Kenmare. We were greeted at the door and taken to our table in a cosy room upstairs. The service was very friendly. A large portion of delicious mussels was enough for two of us to share for a
starter. From a very varied menu, we both chose the slow cooked beef, which was soft, tasty, and served in a.delicious sauce. Finally, a beautifully presented pear with ice cream, chocolate, and salted caramel. A brilliant end to a brilliant meal.

Excellent food and attentive and friendly staff. Highlights of the menu were the Kenmare bay smokies, the lamb ragu, and the panna cotta, which my mom described as the best she’s ever had. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. I would certainly recommend coming here in when in Kenmare.

A top restaurant. One of our best meals anywhere in Ireland, let alone Kenmare. Do be aware that the stairs up to at least two of the dining areas are VERY steep and narrow. The room we were in was cozy, but the tables were pretty well spaced. Very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient waitstaff.
The food was sensational and interesting, particularly the appetizers. And the seafood mains were very fresh and delicious. We share two appetizers: calamari with a spicy mayo and a great salad of pears, with cheese, onion, tomato and pecans. Very tasty.
Both seafood mains were perfectly cooked. Hake with sundried tomato and citrus crumb crust and potato; whole, bone-in sole with a mild lemon saice. The moist fish really stood out in both dishes. Accompanied by a good pinot grigio for 32 euros.
A very pleasant meal. Just watch the stairs going out!

We love No 35. Neil is so welcoming and is a good laugh. The food is just amazing - four of us had three burgers with chips, and one slow cooked beef, all cooked to perfection. The beef was melt in the mouth served with champ, carrots, mushrooms, shallots and a delicious jus. The service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere warm and cosy. Don’t miss it.
