Nora's Cake Shop in Mountmellick

Nice little cafe / cake shop. We had a nice breakfast served with plenty of tea and a very delicious homemade brown bread. The service was very promt and friendly and we will be back again. Their fruit gur/ chester cake is to die for.

Excellent cafe with friendly staff. They were very accommodating for my young children and the food was wonderful - I can recommend the club sandwich!

Our experience was okay, but not quite what we expected. We were hoping for better food and a more inviting atmosphere. Instead, it felt a bit like sitting in a chipper, and the greasy smell was noticeable. That said, credit to the owner—they’re clearly trying to improve the place. With a bit more work, it could definitely become much nicer!

Fabulous food, warm and friendly atmosphere, great service. It's a real gem. Not many left these days.
