Nua Asador in Cork

The meat here is incredible! I ordered the ribeye sandwich for 15 euros; it was generously filled and came with delicious roast potatoes. It's definitely one of the best places in Cork for meat in terms of value, as these types of restaurants in Ireland are usually expensive, but here all the stalls have roughly the same prices.

This is the best steak I’ve had all year. Potatoes were seasoned to perfection as was the meat.

Best Brazilian cut meats I’ve ever had in Ireland! Picanha, Fraldinha, Short Ribs blended greatly with the Irish culture, grilled using special charcoal 🤤 I had the chance to meet the chef behind it. Chef Victor, I found out that he is a well known chef, with international experience in Spain, Brazil and worked in Michelin Star restaurants. No wonder it was so delicious. By the way, he was super kind and he let me see the “behind the scene” by showing me how the chose the type of wood for the grill, his he prepared the ingredients, all the way to he cooks the meat for a perfect dish. A must stop in Cork.

The food is very good, especially the picanha.

The short rib sandwich was €15,- and included the roasted potatoes. The taste itself was good; meat was perfectly cooked and Smokey, cheese and mayonaise were a good combination. The potatoes were delicious and especially the chimichurri was surprising. All in all good and would have given 5 stars if I didn’t had a chunk of chewy fat attached to one of the slices of short rib.

Victor is very friendly and passionate about barbecue. Best steak and potatoes I’ve had. Good quality ingredients cooked to perfection.

I had the Rib Sandwich and it was really tasty. The man serving was very friendly and it was an overall great meal.

Inside the Marina Market, the Brazilian barbecue joint (the owner will roll his eyes at me if I say it's an Argentinian barbecue 😁) makes delicious asados. The meat is tender and cooked perfectly. Delicious!
