O Donnabhain's Traditional Irish Gastro Bar in Kenmare

Typical pub. Lunch with Irish music playing in the background. Right in the center of Kenmare, a small town between the bay and the mountains. Quality food.

Would be 5 stars if I could sleep right now. We're on the 3rd floor and I can hear the music in the bar downstairs. Not ideal after being up for 30hrs after the flight trying to get some rest. If sleeping before 9 or 10pm is you intereste, you'd be better served at a place that is not directly above this bar. Otherwise good.

I think this is the best restaurant in Kenmare. Great atmosphere in the pub, very friendly staff. We met a French waitress (Julie) who was very nice and took the time to chat with us for 5 minutes during her service. So good that we came back for 2 days during our road trip to rest.

A good pub for lunch. The food was very tasty, the staff very attentive and helpful, and the place was quite spacious and decorated, with good background music. At the end of the bar, they have a terrace overlooking the back street where you can enjoy a good pint.

Great welcome, great hotel I recommend it

Very cool pub with really delicious food. The fish and chips, lasagna, and burgers were great. With the live music on Saturday night, we had a lovely (expensive) evening.

I had to leave a review because my kids loved this place. We ordered a burger although I can’t remember what it was called. We’re from California and my stepson said it was his favorite burger of all time, even better than In n Out. He’s a very open-minded eater but very discerning, quite the foodie already. My stepdaughter, on the other hand is extremely picky and will frequently refuse food and she also liked it. We’ve been home for a week but I wanted to remember to leave this review.

Nice little restaurant in the city center. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The service is quite fast. There's nothing to complain about; the food is all good. The prices are a little high, but that's become the norm. The establishment is clean and well-maintained.
