The Bold Thady Quill in Kenmare

I didn’t stay here but the staff helped me out with a problem I had for 3 days while in town. Offered me a choice of coffee for free, and a lovely lobby to wait in. The management here is top notch.

Such a beautiful hotel and welcoming staff. We have a guide dog and they had a fluffy bed for him. The breakfast is delicious and you cannot beat a better location in Kenmare!

My husband and I had a lovely 2-night stay at the Lansdowne Hotel in Kenmare. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we were treated to an upgraded room. The champagne from our kids that was beautifully displayed in our room and the box of chocolates provided by the hotel was such a sweet and unexpected surprise. The meals we had in both the restaurant and cafe were outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you also to Patrick for providing us with guidance on our day of departure on things to do in Dingle. The warmth, kindness, and exceptional hospitality we experienced at the Lansdowne Hotel made our anniversary truly memorable. We look forward to returning on a future visit to Ireland.

We have a dog - best place in Ireland with a dog. They could not have been more welcoming. Br service and range excellent. Lovely cafe. The rooms are smallish because it's an old building but not cramped, and they are well provisioned.

Great food served at the restaurants there. The rooms could use updating.

Called in for coffee and a scone.Nice staff and ambience but scones day old not fresh. At €16.50 for 2 coffees and 2 scones , disappointing. Unlikely to return.
