On a pit stop to Cork we pulled in to Cashel to find a spot for lunch. We stumbled upon O’Neills, to our fortune. It is a quaint little bistro, with very friendly staff. The meals are reasonably priced, and the food is delicious.

Every thing was great except for the 8 ounce fillet steak. It was the smallest 8 ounce that I ever saw. .won't be having it again. More a 5 ounce rather than 8.

Hatchet Inn

04/09/2025: Lovely atmosphere. The two waitresses (sisters) were very efficient and friendly considering how many people they had to look after Portion sizes were good, except for the fish and chips, it was WAY too big. Will definitely be calling again.
30/08/2025: This used to be a really nice place to eat but the quality of food has really gone down hill. Such a pity.
