O Neills of Allihies in

Great food selection, which focuses on having local ingredients. We had a beef burger and shrimps, both of which were fresh and delicious. The manager/owner was also very attentive and made an effort to make sure we had all we need. Atmosphere wise, the place is authentic, many locals and families visiting, and conveniently located in Allihies.

Excellent food in this pleasant pub. Probably the best of our trip to Ireland.

Delicious food and very kind staff! Stopped with my mother for lunch and had great food and lovely time here. Not mentioning the stunning view of the mountains when seating outside. Absolutely recommend!

Bar and restaurant where we dined. A very friendly restaurant with a great atmosphere. A very warm welcome, good, hearty food, and pleasant service. The establishment is clean. I recommend it.

Amazing Pint of Guinness and lovely food!!

Went for lunch, the food was delicious, very cozy, service was friendly and quick, highly recommended, would be happy to come back.

I might not have enjoyed myself as much as I usually do at a restaurant because I wasn't feeling well at this place but the steak was good and otherwise it did take quite a while for the food to get out. I really liked the pepper sauce that came with my steak sandwich

A must visit here and great grub , always someone to have the craic with .

We stayed in Allihies and visited O'Neill's twice, once for drinks and another evening for dinner. On the first evening we sat outside on the benches enjoying the glorious sunny evening. There was a buzzing atmosphere as people ate and drank. On the second evening we had reserved a table indoors for our group. We were sat at the back of the bar in the restaurant area. This area lacks atmosphere. It wasnt an issue for us a larger group but could be a little drab if a couple or small group. Later in the evening i noticed an open window also resulted in cigarette smoke coming from an outside area. The food however was fantastic. Our group ordered a mix of chicken wings, prawns and vol au vent. Reasonable portions and tasty. The fish and chips was the winner of the night - huge portion of fish, so tasty, fresh and delicious batter. Burgers were also enjoyed. Given the large main courses only one dessert was ordered - Toblerone cheesecake. Very tasty. All in all we really enjoyed our time at O'Neill's - service was friendly and accommodating. We didn't spend time in the bar area but it looks cosy and I'd imagine a great spot for a few drinks when the weather is not so good.
