We stopped here with friends. We tried the creamy seafood chowder, lamb stew, haddock and chips and buffalo burger. We enjoyed everything and I can only recommend it.

We had a snack there. It's a typical bar with a bar atmosphere. The food was okay. The menu is restaurant-like, and the prices are similar. However, the food was a bit limited. The value for money wasn't quite right. But if you need something to eat, I can recommend it.

Nice food and great congenial atmosphere in this packed pub on a Sunday evening with fantastic musicians. We'll keep a fond memory of this moment which was one of the most memorable of our stay in Ireland. 🍻🎻💚

Amazing! We were hungry after a very active day outside, not knowing the places around, randomly drove to the closes location! What a gem! A cherry on top during this trip. far the best food in the whole country! My Irish friend said this was the best ever Chowder in his life!

28/08/2025: I had a wonderful stay at The Riverbank Country Pub Guesthouse in Lannat, Carrickmacross. I’m here for work, and this place has been perfect. The food is excellent – I especially love the chicken curry, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Room service is fantastic too; everything is taken care of quickly, and they really make sure guests are comfortable. The outside area is lovely, with big open land that gives such a peaceful atmosphere. There’s even a very cute and friendly dog on the property, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. The staff are extremely nice, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with a warm, homely feel. Highly recommended!

Vintage Lane Cafe

27/08/2025: Very friendly, extremely accommodating to our food restrictions (gluten-free, milk-free). Oh, and the food is delicious, too. I particularly recommend the milk-free pesto.
21/08/2025: Lovely cafe in a beautiful scenic area! Friendly staff and good food. Some items were sold out when we arrived but there was still other options available.
