Stopped for lunch earlier today. Had a selection of various starters tapas style. Excellent seafood, efficient and super friendly staff, great Irish coffee- open kitchen , very cool vibe. Oh and clean and warm toilets which is always appreciated after a long and cold walk 😀

Went on recommendation of others who raved about the chowder. My girlfriend is a big chowder fan, so no brainer. Food was very good, service very good, atmosphere cozy, all was great, until the bill arrived. I work in the industry, so when I get hit with a 10% "gratuity"that isn't on any menus, signs or publicity, I get annoyed. This is in real terms a service charge a it is compulsory. The best part was that I was going to tip €10 cash, which went straight back in my pocket when I saw the bill. You've lost a customer and a bigger tip for something that is at best dishonest.

The welcome was very warm and pleasant, as was the service. The dishes were refined, fresh, of good quality, and beautifully presented. We found the value for money to be very good.

Came on Christmas Eve without a reservation but still managed to get a table for a late lunch. Pasta was fresh and delicious whilst the hot chocolate with marshmallows was everything one could ask for on a cold windy day! Great friendly staff too.

Thank you so much for Sunday lunch; everything was perfect, from the food and wine service. Special mention to our two waitresses that day, Aifric and Maisie—smiling, helpful, and polite—the perfect combination, especially considering it was Sunday and it's always difficult to work on a day when everyone else is off work. 🙏

01/03/2026: Usually have a lovely time here. Last night was disappointing. One table where loud and had too much to drink and been very vulgar (can't blame the restaurant for this? We where asked to give back our table before we where offered desserts, this was 45 mins in ton out arrival Our bill came and have the items where not charged for. When we explained and asked for correct bill there was additional drinks and food added. After 20 mins bill was resolved. Personally I feel the restaurant was over booked and staff could not function . Definitely won't be going back here on a Saturday night gor a while
30/12/2025: Booked for a special birthday dinner. Food was good for most of our party but my steak was overcooked. Told waiter but nothing more was said as I didnt want to return it & eat on my own! Service was poor. Overall disappointed!
