O'Briens Cafe in Maynooth

10/05/2025: Going downhill fast. This place was so lovely when it opened it's such a shame that there are so many issues. There's many things on the menu that they never have in stock and the bathrooms are in a poor state. Went today for lunch and the waiter didn't seem to know what they actually had in stock and had to keep checking, there was about 4 tables waiting and no food coming out. After about 40 minutes we eventually got our food which seemed very rushed and bland. Their cakes are lovely and its a lovely place, it seems run by a bunch of young friends and it's becoming less efficient as time goes on.

08/05/2025: The food is class, the bakery offering is varied and everything I've tried is good. But if you're going to post opening hours, you need to stick to them. I walked in the door at 17:10 and was told you closed early. That's almost 2 hours before your posted closing time and really rubbish for people who might want to buy things after they finish work.
