Great place to visit and have drinks. Bartenders are super friendly and enjoy chatting it up with customers. If you are looking for the ultimate Irish Pub feel you found it at O’Connells Bar.

A really quaint pub with a great atmosphere. The Guinness costs around €6 per pint and there is a bar and pizzeria in the back yard.

I visited this bar while on holiday and accidentally left my wallet there. I only realized it was missing after I had returned to my country. The staff were incredibly helpful. They sorted everything out and sent my wallet back to me. It just arrived, and everything is perfect and nothing is missing! Thank you 😊

Tardis of a bar. Traditional Irish bar at the front, but go through to the beer garden and things open up. A really nice Dough Bros pizza shop and live music after 6pm. Just a really nice place 🍕🍕🎶🎶😁

We were delighted to discover the back garden serves dough bros pizza!!! Dinks were enjoyable as was the music! The live band kicked things off near 18:30 and they were fantastic! The wood fired pizza was thin and scrumptious!

Excellent welcome, an extraordinary place with its “beer garden” outside, its old “shop”! A piece of Ed Sheeran's clip but what authenticity, I love it!!!

20/04/2025: We had amazing time. The food was nice and the drink was also amazing. We love the service provided by the staff the were so kind and humble and asking in between if everything is ok this show that they care about their customers and not ignored even if its busy.
19/04/2025: Started the night with dinner downstairs and ended the night with cocktails and live music! Both the food & drinks were incredible and service was amazing. This was our favorite stop in Galway!
