This is one of my favourite cinemas.

Went with my grandson the other day to see Harold and the purple crayon, I actually enjoyed the film, had lovely nachos for the first time, bought loads of goodies, the young girl who served us was lovely and so helpful, she actually carried some of our stuff to our seats, waited till we sat down and passed us our stuff. What a fantastic time, made even better by the friendly staff. Thankyou Odeon

Went to see despicable me 4 a few weeks ago with my gorgeous boy and such a brilliant day and movie excellent service and food 😊👍

The staff is really friendly, but the screen we went to watch a movie (screen 5) had a funky smell of unclean seats. The lounge area was covered in popcorn. If they cleaned up the place then I'd amend my review gladly! --- Edit to say been there again and screen 3 was actually much better since the chairs aren't made of carpet material. I'll just make sure to avoid movies on screen 5 again.

Portlaoise Odeon, stands up to expextation but its basic. No 3d or 4d. Seats are standard but clean. Food served is upto standard to its peers.

The place has gone down a bit the past couple of years. The last few times I've been there the bins are overflowing and there is popcorn all over the floor behind the counter. Rarely see a manager or a person over 20 years of age behind the counter. I went to see Bac boys ride or die at 3pm today and 3 young boys who probably were even too young for the film kept talking and using their phones. I went out and complained but the staff just came in looked and went back out. Also the last few times the seats were not cleaned properly before the film started. A few years ago you would be made wait till the place was clean before you were left in. Now they don't care

Went to see a movie all excited the prices were outrageous but we knew this going in half way threw my 2 hour movie I go out to buy a drink from the concession stand and they state they are closed that they have closed the tills and there’s nothing they can do so one half of the movie I enjoy 2nd half I was parched couldn’t eat my overpriced pretentious popcorn because I’d know drink I won’t be back at least the one in Newbridge has the decency to stay open throughout the whole movie for your food and beverage needs should be a 1 star but the bathroom facilities were clean
