Food is great. Staff were super friendly. Highly recommend.

Very good food, which isn't always the case in pubs, and at reasonable prices (between €15 and €20 per dish). Nice view from the outdoor tables, no view from inside.

O’s was the first pub we stopped at after arriving at Shannon and ended up having the best meal during our two week stay on the island with a memory that will last forever. I decided to not get cash at the airport and made the wrong assumption that I’d pop into an ATM for cash later in the day, uh, mistake. Found out after wolfing an amazing seafood platter with the best raw oysters I’ve ever tasted and having my first real Guinness while taking in an amazing view that O’s only accepted cash. I started wondering if I might have to spend a bit of time in an Irish jail when the owner told me no worries and to just drop the money in the mail. As promised I mailed a 50€ note later in the trip.

What a lovely, cozy, and informal pub this is. We received a warm welcome twice, despite being very busy, and the service was very friendly and excellent. The food was delicious; the fish and chips were superb!

I'm writing this review to thank the man who I believe is the head waiter. Yesterday, I tried to cross the road from behind a bus that was stopped outside, and didn't look left to the blind spot I had. I experienced a very near miss with an oncoming car as I stepped out... According to the people who saw, the waiter tried to stop the car by shouting and stepping out himself. His attempt likely slowed down the car and if it had hit me would have reduced the impact. Ended up having a post life-threatening, Murphy's stout and chowder here which were both lovely, and I'll never forget. Thanks again! Be careful out there everyone, you only get one life.

Total GEM of a pub, food is unbelievably good and a great pint of Guinness. Donal who works their is a real asset to the business. Would 100% recommend.
