Fast food served as quickly as you'd get at a fast-food restaurant, which is suspicious for a restaurant. The chicken tenders are made fresh that morning and reheated just before serving: they're therefore far too dry (I had to try twice to be sure it was actually chicken). I didn't think it was possible to mess up the chowder: well, you can! It's just a matter of throwing frozen vegetables and pieces of fish into milk with powder for a very gelatinous texture! Tasteless. Avoid it unless you're in a hurry. Free parking right across the street.

Lovely restaurant on the Wild Atlantic Way. Friendly service, and the food arrived very quickly. One minor drawback was that they were using old menus, so the fish and chips order still listed coleslaw as an accompaniment, which wasn't actually served.

It used to be good for food, but over the last few years the quality and quantity has reduced. The atmosphere and bar service are okay.

O’Donohue’s Pub has a real raw Irish pub vibe — not the overly-smiling kind, more of the typical “sit in, get a good pint and a decent meal” style. 😄 The fish & chips were very good though: fresh fish, crispy batter, good portion, just what you would expect from an Irish coastal pub. Simple, authentic, a bit grumpy vibe — but that’s what makes it Irish. 🇮🇪

We stopped there while going to Galway and it had the most delicious Guiness and beef stew

A pub in a small town on the Wild Atlantic Way. The service was impersonal but incredibly fast. The food was very good and the atmosphere was cozy.

We stopped for a tasty lunch on our trip up to Galway the other day. It's a lovely pub just across from the water, it was nice enjoying the view as we sat and ate our lunch. I had the cod fish tacos which were very tasty! Food came out fast and was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a stop on your road trip through the area!

A wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, responsive to our needs and tolerant/patient with our limited English! The food was delicious and plentiful, beautifully presented! The view of the sea and the charming restaurant itself blend seamlessly into the surroundings with its lovely facade 🥰 We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Ireland!!

Outstanding food and service always. The quality, taste,value and presentation of the food is of the highest standards. The service is brilliant and the staff are so professional and on the ball at all times. Highly recommended for the best of Irish hospitality, with delicious food and creamy pints.🙂
