O'Donohues Pub in

We stopped for a tasty lunch on our trip up to Galway the other day. It's a lovely pub just across from the water, it was nice enjoying the view as we sat and ate our lunch. I had the cod fish tacos which were very tasty! Food came out fast and was fresh and delicious. Definitely worth a stop on your road trip through the area!

A wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, responsive to our needs and tolerant/patient with our limited English! The food was delicious and plentiful, beautifully presented! The view of the sea and the charming restaurant itself blend seamlessly into the surroundings with its lovely facade 🥰 We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Ireland!!

As someone who’s worked in hospitality for years, I can spot a good place straight away—O’Donohue’s in Fanore is a brilliant bar. Great ambiance, really warm and authentic. The food is simple but done properly, full of flavour. The Guinness is 10/10—perfect every time. Staff clearly know their stuff, especially the bearded blonde bartender—sound, attentive, and on the ball. Amazing spot all round.

Outstanding food and service always. The quality, taste,value and presentation of the food is of the highest standards. The service is brilliant and the staff are so professional and on the ball at all times. Highly recommended for the best of Irish hospitality, with delicious food and creamy pints.🙂

I was also among those who came on the Moher Cliffs tour. The service was very fast; you order yourself from the pub section, giving your table number. After I placed my order, the food arrived at my table before I even got there :) The fish and chips were delicious, perfectly seasoned and crispy. If I remember correctly, I paid around 24 euros in total for Guinness and fish and chips. The town it's located in is also very charming; you can see lovely views if you go out for a short break. Great place for a bit of food while traveling the area. Warm and welcoming, it was great to step in to a warm fire and some hot food. The fish and chips were very good and the burger was enjoyed by my wife. The pint of Guinness was poured perfectly and went down smooth as always. Highly recommend you try this pub for a drink or a meal!

A great place with lovely people and warm food ín the end of the world.

Just passing by and ended up having a lovely lunch beautiful chowder and fish tacos. The fish and chips looked lovely and there were daily specials. The staff were very welcoming. Definitely a repeat visit called for. Thank you.
