If you are staying at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel, don’t hesitate to take the short walk over. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was great. I had the wings—cooked perfectly—along with the burger. The Murphy’s was great too.
Had a fabulous meal at O’Dwyers while staying at Dunboyne Castle Hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our meals were all hot, fresh and delicious. We especially loved the Thai curry, fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding. If you’re in town I’d recommend stopping by!
My first time here and will definitely be back
Food was amazing and service definitely with a smile and the place was really nice decor and atmosphere definitely will be back 🍔🍺🥘
I recently went to O’Dwyers Gastro Pub and I have to say it was an amazing experience! As soon as you walk through the door, the warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes you. The decor is both chic and cozy, perfect for a dinner with friends or a family outing.
The menu is varied and highlights a beautiful fusion between traditional Irish cuisine and modern dishes. I tried the steak on stone, and it was simply divine - the meat was tender and flavorful, accompanied by fresh vegetables and tender potatoes. My friend had the fish and chips, crispy as hell, with a homemade tartar sauce which was delicious.
The service was impeccable: the staff were attentive, courteous and very knowledgeable about the menu. They were able to advise us wonderfully, whether for dishes or drinks. Moreover, the selection of craft beers and whiskeys is impressive!
In summary, O’Dwyers Gastro Pub is an essential address for all lovers of good food and a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience. Congratulations to the whole team !
I’ll start with the pluses, it’s a good bar layout with friendly staff and decent guiness. Food was poor however and yet for the same prices in Slevins next door you can add two stars for basically the same food. Slevins is not as good a bar though so all in all go into Slevins for food before 9pm and Dwyers or Mulvanys for a drink afterwards (admittedly I’m only saying this because I don’t want more people in Brady’s after 9pm. Doh).
