Off The Square in Clifden

Lovely little restaurant.i dined here for my full Irish breakfast before heading back to Donegal after camping in clifden ego beech ,I have been coming to connamera for About 20 years now and this is my go to for my full Irish .it was so yummie devious and fresh staff come to the table pretty quick very friendly staff at that. If it's a nice Irish breakfast your after this is the place to come to.i have often eaten here in the evening for a to die for fish and chips.scrumpious staff lovely and friendly.i can't fault it lovely grub all round.

Superb fish and chips. My sister ordered the special of beef roast and potatoes. Very hard to cut with knife given and gristly.

We had a lovely dinner here on our trip to Clifden. It is a must visit for your trip to Clifden, food is all cooked fresh and family run so excellent service and real community feeling! Dinner and breakfast are great here, excellent value for money also!

Got the braised lamb shank and it was divine. So tender and delicious, a great large piece of meat too. Every bit of food was perfect. I would have given it 5 stars. Though the atmosphere and the staff were nice and lovely, the place was a bit cold and the knife I was given was not suitable for the lamb shank I had. I struggled quite a bit to cut the lamb, though it was to die for. Besides the inadequate knife, bring some warm clothes and you'll have a great time. The food was some of the best I've had anywhere. We will be happily coming back =)

Delicious fish and chips and chowder (among others) Everyone had a great time. Calm atmosphere and very good service. Yum!!!

We felt very comfortable; The service was very polite, the atmosphere was really nice and cozy and the food was excellent at fair prices. If we are in Connemara again we will definitely head to Clifden and this restaurant.
