Okura Japanese Cuisine in Cork

I have walked past this restaurant so many times and I had not realised what I was missing, the atmosphere was beautiful and well decorated, the food was DELICIOUS and the staff were friendly and professional, one of the staff there seems like he was the one in charge, I didn’t catch his name but I like him a lot, he has a good humour which made us feel welcome and comfortable. Did I mention the food was DELICIOUS?! Every single dish was very tasty and the price was decent.

Japanese with funky robots delivering the food. Steak teppanyaki is unreal. Good sushi selection, sake, moutai. Super friendly wait staff especially the guy from HK.

The food is great! But even though the place was half-empty that night, the waiters ignored our empty table for like half an hour. We had to wave them down. We asked for the dessert menu at the end but never got it. The head waiter's jokes were also out of place.

Friendly and professional staff, great for kids - robot waiter and flamework artistry displays by the chef.

Really nice restaurant overall, regreat not going for the teppaniaky experience, open kitchen makes it all look so nice, the chefs even wear face mask for hygiene purpose. Only down side is there's no japanese dessert. Will definitely be back though.

More than a meal, it’s an experience Food was excellent. Joe is a great asset to the team, kept us entertained throughout. The robot singing happy birthday was a random but nice surprise !

Brilliant. My favorite restaurant. I've gone here multiple times and got the black angus fillet. Melt in the mouth perfect.my child always gets the children plater sushi and she loves it. I have recommended this restaurant to everyone I know in Douglas.

Great restaurant. Beautiful decor and ambience. Food was fantastic. Great variety and reasonably priced. The staff were courteous and very attentive. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for a special occassion
