Old Ground Hotel in Ennis

We had a lovely one night stay. Our triple room was upgraded to studio suite which was lovely but possibly smaller than triple room..also 2 had share a bed which wasn't really what we wanted. Our evening meal in the town house was fantastic,food& service was outstanding. We didn't quite enjoy breakfast as we had to repeatedly ask for things. We've stayed here several times & generally love it. Thankyou

Truly a worthwhile and amazing place to stay! This hotel has amazing service, food, and accommodations. We loved our well appointed room, the breakfast service, and amenities. My favorite personal touch was a lending library available to guests, my wife loved that so she could borrow a book for the stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Classical excellence all around. Traditional Ireland of the welcome hotel. The beds were an excellent investment by the owner, just a great nights sleep. The team working in and around the hotel, pub and restaurant are true professionals and welcome. Enjoy your stay!

It's a great place for a relaxing break. Good food and entertainment. Right in the heart of Ennis.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was by far our favorite hotel/room of the whole trip! They actually upgraded us to their bridal suite, which was stunning! The bellhop was friendly and helped me carry my massive bag from our car through the whole hotel to our room. The room itself was extremely comfortable and clean and had a massive bath tub in the bathroom. We also really enjoyed the trad music in the Poet's Corner during the evening.

This was the nicest of the hotels we stayed at during our tour of Ireland. We finally had down pillows which was lovely. Service was mostly Irish for the first time out of 5 different hotels.

Stayed with you on 7th October, while accommodation was excellent food was very bad. All we got was greasy fish and chips. There appeared to be no healthy option. Staff were inattentive except for one person. I'd imagine she was the manager of the evening. Next morning we requested tea to be served with the main part of the breakfast, however staff still weren't still listening they still brought us tea the minute we walked in the breakfast room

Had a fantastic overnight stay at the hotel and was delighted with everything. Will be back again.
